Beijing, 2019
A former government canteen in the Sanlitun neighbourhood, spanning two floors; one on street-level and the other below ground. The aim of DTZW was to convert the original 1960's space to a modern and casual restaurant that is both brutalist and soft.

Both floors maximise on natural light and the light ambiance is enhanced with scarce materials, muted colours and custom furniture and light fittings.
